2024 MoodleMoot in Nagasaki: Basic Information

MoodleMoot Japan in 2024 will be held at Nagasaki International University.

In fact, preparations for MoodleMoot Japan at Nagasaki International University were initially underway with consideration of holding the event in person in 2022. However, due to the impact of COVID-19, the safety of all participants was a top priority, and as a result, the 2022 event was held in the form of an online Moot.

We are pleased to announce that Nagasaki International University has agreed to host the meeting as a face-to-face meeting. Once again, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your support and cooperation.

This will be the second face-to-face meeting for the COIVD-19 transition, following the Ibaraki Moot last year. We hope that you will make use of the MoodleMoot as a venue for active discussions and information exchange.

The keynote speaker for this year's MoodleMoot will be Martin Dougiamas, the developer of Moodle. We have also invited Dr. Tatsunori Matsui of Waseda University, who is the president of the Learning Analysis Society of Japan, to give a keynote speech in Japanese, which will provide an opportunity to share his knowledge on how to analyze learning from the learning history accumulated by the Moodle LMS. We hope that this will be an opportunity for you to share your knowledge on how to analyze learning from the learning history accumulated by Moodle LMS.

I hope that MoodleMoot Japan 2024 will be a fruitful event for all of you.
