eラーニングコンテンツの流通・再利用を支援するためのプラグインを2種類開発した。1つ目は、SCORM 2004対応のプラグイン(活動モジュール・成績表用のブロック・コースフォーマットから構成)である。標準のSCORMプラグインであるmod_scormは、SCORM 2004の一部の機能にしか対応していない。本プラグインは、SCORM 2004のシーケンシング機能はフルサポートし、その他の主要な機能にも対応している。2つ目は、学習オブジェクトリポジトリを検索できるリポジトリプラグインである。本リポジトリプラグインを用いると、外部の学習コンテンツを検索することができる。検索された学習コンテンツへリンクを張ったり、写真やSCORMパッケージのような単体のファイルであればコースへ取り込んだりできる。1つ目のプラグインはGPLで公開しており、「ELECOA」で検索すれば見つけることができる。2つ目のプラグインも今後公開予定である。本ショーケースでは、コンテンツと流通システムの両面を支援するために開発した、それぞれのプラグインを紹介する。

PoodLL is an open source project that adds multi-media features to Moodle via several plugins. These plugins include an audio and video recording repository, an assignment, and a question type. It also adds a number of interactive widgets to Moodle including an audio list player, video galleries, animated flashcards, a stopwatch, and visual timers. These widgets can be added to any area of Moodle where there is an html editor, e.g a lesson, an assignment description, a question or a page resource. PoodLL also contains modules to enable advanced real time activities notably audio and video pairwork and shared whiteboards. The presenter of the showcase is the chief developer of PoodLL. In the showcase, PoodLL plugins will be demonstrated, and attendees can experience using PoodLL first hand via mobile devices and regular PCs.

小学校では観察カードなどの学習成果は、教室掲示として扱われることが多く、その活用が十分に行われているとはいえない。この学習成果を共有し，交流することにで，児童の学び合いや気づきによる学びが生まれてくると考えた。そこで、 主にMoodleのデータベースモジュールを活用した授業実践を行った。データベースは相互にコメントをつけることもできるが、文字入力が十分できない中学年では、紙に書いたものをスキャナで取り込み、これもデータベース化した。高学年では直接文字入力による相互コメントを行った。学習成果とコメントは見比べられるよう並列表示を行った。テキスト、画像、音声、動画等が簡単に保存・蓄積でき、データベース化することで、学習成果の活用範囲が広がった。相互コメントの活動は、児童の気づきや学習への意欲づけで有効であった。Moodleは小学校においても有効に活用することができたが、文字入力が難しい中学年において、入力方法を工夫する必要がある。また、広く小学校で活用するには，小学生用の言語パッケージの充実と小学生向けのインターフェースの開発が必要である。さらに活用する教員が意義を見出せるかが課題である。

Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) is becoming a popular tool in EFL classes around the world. The type of CMC used depends on the learning situation. This poster session will outline two language exchange programs where students from various countries used Moodle to study language in 'cooperative and collaborative' language exchange settings. “Cooperative”, here, means students in each of the countries participating in the exchange are learning the language of the other partner. In this type, American students studying Japanese were linked with Japanese students studying English on a Moodle course that employed forums, wikis, chats and messages to promote language and cultural exchange. In another type, “Collaborative” interchange means all students are EFL students and are learning English as a common language. In this type, students from Viet Nam and Japan worked together to learn English. Pluses and minuses in both forms of exchange and examples of each form of CMC will be detailed in this electronic poster session. Description of the pedagogical basis for the courses, explanation of how they were created and maintained, and outcomes achieved by the students will be outlined. Some initial findings will be presented comparing output and outcomes from students according to CMC type.
