If possible the session should be in a computer lab or CALL room or the participants should be encouraged to bring a notebook computer.

Response to Reviewer #1:

The idea behind this presentation is that if an instructor knows how to use the database module they will be able to create "exciting and engaging activities" for the learners. One of the points in using an LMS is to make the life of the instructor easier if it didn't why bother to use one at all.

One of the problems with the database module is that it is very difficult for beginners and intermediate users to get their heads around. If they don't learn the basic settings it can be extremely difficult to get started. If they are going to make any kind of activity that they can use in their own courses it will take 90 minutes to get them up to speed.

Feedback The abstract does not really trigger my interest. What is novel? It is written from the instructor side, namely describing the advantages for the instructor, how it makes "life" easier for the instructor. However, what is exciting for the students to use such a database? Shouldn't that be addressed as well, and maybe foremost?

Feedback The content proposal is very good but I'm just not sure if this warrants an entire workshop. I recommend switching to a 40-minute presentation highlighting the excellent ideas the proposal offers which might be a better focus for the audience rather then asking them to implement the same in a workshop. However, if a workshop is truly desired I've no objection to this idea.
