Using the Moodle integration allows students to submit and receive feedback on written work with little need for the instructor to intervene in the process. Instructors, however, retain the ability to monitor student progress and provide feedback based upon their own evaluation coupled with information they obtain from the Turnitin system. Downsides of the system, including cost, will also be presented and discussed.

Feedback Where writing support and plagiarism checking are very important topics, the abstract sounds a little like an advertisement for Turnitin. I also felt that given the broad scope of what is to be discussed (implementation, functionality and pedagogical use), that a 40min session might be more appropriate.

Feedback This presentation looks like being very informative and useful, both for people who have not used Turnitin before, as well as for seasonded users. Please include some real data from students, as this will bring reenforce the relevance of the theorectical ideas you introduce.
