Description:
This plugin (block) enables Moodle dashboard to show learning progress bar (completion progress) of each course.
The main characteristics of this plugin are as follows.
- Learners can check their learning progress (completion progress) of each course on their dashboard.
- The picture of each course changes when the learner has finished the course.
- Learning progress bar consists of blocks of learning contents which learners have to finish to complete the course.
- By clicking blocks on learning progress bar, learners can access learning contents such as quizzes and assignments directly.
Moodle officially provide learning progress bar on dashboard, but it only provides learning progress on percentage style. So, learners cannot understand which learning activities they have to finish to complete the course. By using this plugin, learners can understand which learning activities they have to work on.
This plugin benefits learners to understand their learning progress especially when they need to learn various courses in parallel.
The function of this plugin is extended from the following plugin "completion progress" which shows learning progress bar inside courses. To use "progress icon", you need to install "completion progress" beforehand.
