VGA okay? Need a sound cable?

VGA okay? Need a sound cable?

Hi, I'm presenting on Monday and just found out that the HDMI adapter that I ordered does not work for my Mac. I do have a VGA adapter. Will that be okay?

Also, do I need a sound cable, or is there one there? I'll be showing videos in my presentation so I need a sound connector too. You know, the one that plugs into the headphone port. I'll be bringing my MacBook Pro.

Thanks very much to anyone who knows and can tell me what equipment we'll be using at the Moot.

Best wishes,

Jennifer Claro

This is the equipment link from the Moot site. Looks like we have both VGA and HDMI inputs.

Also I have a Mac VGA and HDMI dongle if you need it.

Cheers.

Thank you for the technical help

Hi Paul,

Thanks! All I have is my own Mac VGA dongle/adapter which works fine.

I will assume I don't need to bring a sound cable.

I guess there will be some techies around to help out if there are any problems?

Thanks again for your help, I'm just trying to prevent problems ahead of time...

Cheers,

Jennifer
