Thanks! All I have is my own Mac VGA dongle/adapter which works fine.

I will assume I don't need to bring a sound cable.

I guess there will be some techies around to help out if there are any problems?

Hi, I'm presenting on Monday and just found out that the HDMI adapter that I ordered does not work for my Mac. I do have a VGA adapter. Will that be okay?

Also, do I need a sound cable, or is there one there? I'll be showing videos in my presentation so I need a sound connector too. You know, the one that plugs into the headphone port. I'll be bringing my MacBook Pro.

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed to know. I have an HDMI to VGA dongle (but didn't know it was called a dongle) and I'll check it out at my school this week sometime.
