In order help prevent the spread of COVID-19, most language courses on offer at Kyushu Sangyo University (Fukuoka, Japan) have been primarily conducted in a remote format since April of 2020. To enable this sudden and comprehensive change in instructional format, a single course within our existing Moodle site was heavily customized to accommodate the needs of language instruction. The Moodle course is currently used by over 200 teachers of 6 languages to teach up to 700 courses in any given semester to some 6,000 students. In this presentation, we will describe the major customizations that serve to facilitate the posting of lesson content, the submission of student work, and the management of student grades.

Feedback As the presentation gives no information of how the course was customized nor what it was customized from, the overall significance of the presentation is very unclear. There is no explanation of how so many teachers of so many languages are using a single course. It may be a fantastic presentation, but the lack of information makes it very hard to evaluate. Instead of providing detailed information about the motives of the customization, the description would benefit greatly from greater detail of the contents of the presentation.

Feedback This paper looks very relevant and very interesting for the Moot. It is clear what will be presented at a basic level. The only recommendation I could make would to be add an example or two of the things that will be discussed.
