2024年における日本研究開発の優先課題をご投稿いただき、ありがとうございます。 MAJの役員および会員から以下の5つの優先事項が選ばれました。まだ優先順位をお決めでない方は、このR&Dアンケートフォームから最も緊急性の高いものをお選びください。

Thank you for posting your Japan R&D survey priorities for 2024.  The following five priorities were selected by MAJ officers and members. If you have not given your R&D priorities, please go to this R&D survey form and select the most urgent ones.

現在、R&D委員会はこれらの優先課題に対する助成金の申請を受け付けている。2年以上助成金の交付が行われていないため、今年度はどの程度交付されるかはわからない。私たちは、これらの「緊急」および「非常に緊急」な優先課題に沿ったプロジェクトを、5万円から50万円の範囲で推薦する。申請書の提出はこちらから：https://forms.gle/FLDMUdZNKT3pkwQ19

Now the R&D Committee is opening for grant applications for these priorities. We do not know how much will be available this year, because no grants have been awarded for more than two years. We recommend projects that follow these "urgent" and "very urgent" priorities in the range of 50,000 yen to 500,000 yen. Submit your application here:  https://forms.gle/FLDMUdZNKT3pkwQ19

フォームにある通り、採択基準は以下の通り：As shown on the form, the criteria for acceptance are as follows: 

日本Moodle協会は、より良いプラグイン、ドキュメンテーション、コース共有、その他の改善のために、カンファレンス、ワークショップ、ジャーナル、助成金を開催し、教育の向上を目指しています。2024年度研究開発助成金は、日本の学校および大学向けにMoodle LMSを改善するプロジェクトに対して、2週間募集されます。Moodleはオープンソースプロジェクトです。ガイドラインは以下の通りです：
1.  オープンソースのMoodle LMSを学生、教師または管理者のために改善する。
2.  2024年日本における開発の優先順位に従うこと。
3.  2025年2月までに完成し、MoodleMoot 2025で発表できること。
4.  採択されたプロジェクトに配分される利用可能な資金に合わせて、組み合わせ、再交渉、再編成が可能であること。
5.   MAJのメンバー1名が主任申請者であること。役員および研究開発委員は参加資格があるが、資金を受け取ることはできない。6.   MAJショーケースにプラグイン、ドキュメント、コースをインストールし、一般公開やダウンロードができる。
7.    2025年4月のMAJ Proceedingsに、査読のない報告論文を掲載できる。これが困難な場合は、R&D委員による支援を受けることができる。

The Moodle Association of Japan aims to improve education by holding conferences, workshops, journals and grants for better plugins, documentation, course-sharing, and other improvements. The 2024 R&D Grant applications will be accepted for two weeks for any project that will improve Moodle LMS for Japanese schools and universities. Moodle is an open source project. The guidelines are as follows:
1.  Improves the open source Moodle LMS for students, teachers or admins
2.  Follows the 2024 Japan development priorities selected by the Moodle Association of Japan 
3.  Can be completed by February 2025, and presented at MoodleMoot 2025.
4.  Can be combined, renegotiated, or restructured to fit available funds divided among accepted projects.
5.   Has one MAJ member as lead applicant. Partners and Moot sponsors may apply. MAJ officers and R&D Committee members are eligible to participate but may not receive funds directly.  
6.   Can install plugin, documentation or courses in the MAJ Showcase for public viewing and downloading.
7.    Can publish a non-vetted report paper in the April 2025 MAJ Proceedings. Assistance by R&D Committee members is available if this is difficult.

7月11日、日本ムードル協会のR&D委員会は5つのプロジェクト提案を受け取りました。良いニュースは、MAJ役員および会員の優先事項の最初の3つが提案でカバーされていることです：

It is July 11th, and the R&D committee of Moodle Association of Japan R&D has received five project proposals. The good news is that the first three priorities of the MAJ Officers and Members are covered in the proposals:

For  Japanese documentation >> a proposal to use an AI Chatbot to help learners and teachers use Moodle better with full Japanese language support. 日本語ドキュメンテーション >> 学習者と教師がよりよくMoodleを利用できるように、完全日本語対応のAIチャットボットを利用する提案

For  Learning history dashboards >> a proposal on forum improvements that gives teachers a report on valued activity and provides students with feedback on their forum participation. 学習履歴ダッシュボード >> 評価された活動に関するレポートを教師に提供し、フォーラム参加に関するフィードバックを学生に提供する、フォーラム改善に関する提案

For  Rubric Assessment Sharing >>  a proposal to improve assignment feedback with AI tools was received with assistance by MoodleMoot Japan keynote speaker Marcus Green.  ルーブリック評価の共有について >> ムードル・ムート・ジャパンの基調講演者であるMarcus Green氏の協力のもと、AIツールを使った課題フィードバックの改善に関する提案を受けました。

For Multilingual Ability >> unfortunately a proposal to do kanji filtering and sorting is not possible this year due a heavy schedule of the project leader. 多言語対応について >> 残念ながら、漢字のフィルタリングとソートを行う提案は、プロジェクトリーダーのスケジュールが詰まっているため、今年は不可能です。

For Question Bank Fast Backups >> unfortunately a proposal to fund the question bank consortium needs to be moved to the Global PAG and the Global Community funding scheme. Our goal is to get as many members involved in R&D as possible, and to recruit more institutional members to serve as members of a Japan Product Advisory Group (PAG).  Watch for further announcements this month.
