日本ムードル協会は、2月16日〜18日に長崎国際大学で開催されたMoodleMoot Japanを終了しました。この会議では、50以上のプレゼンテーションと研究パネルが行われました。これらの多くは、日本ムードル協会のProceedings 予稿集にレポートや査読付き論文として掲載される予定です。あなたのMoodleを利用した研究・開発成果は、ぜひ投稿してください--投稿期限は4月25日です。また、Moodle LMSの研究・開発に関する成果や要望を、役員、会員、友人から募集します。MAJは、これらのアイデアをまとめ、最も必要とされるものを推進します。あなたの声を届けるために、研究開発委員会に参加してください。The Moodle Association of Japan has just completed MoodleMoot Japan at Nagasaki International University on February 16-18. At that conference, over 50 presentations and research panels were conducted. Many of these will be written in reports and vetted papers in the Moodle Association of Japan Proceedings. Please submit your Moodle-based research and development work there--submissions due by April 25th. 


また、MAJ研究開発委員会では、会員およびMoodle使用大学に対するアンケート調査を毎年実施します。 役員、会員、スタッフおよび友人の皆様から、Moodle LMSの研究開発に対する成果および要望をお寄せください。MAJがあなたの問題や優先順位を知るために、以下の質問にお答えください。このアンケートは10分程度で回答できます。すべての質問に回答する必要はありません。私たちはこれらのアイデアをまとめ、最も必要とされるものを推進します。最後に、MAJの研究開発委員会に参加し、これらの声に耳を傾けてくださることを歓迎します。In addition, the MAJ R&D Committee will conduct an annual survey of members and Moodle-using universities and teachers.  Officers, members, staff and friends are invited to submit their accomplishments and requests for Moodle LMS research and development. Please answer the following questions to help MAJ know your problems and priorities. These priorities will help the MAJ decide how to put a portion of your membership funds to make Moodle better. This survey will take about 10 minutes of time to answer--you are not required to answer all questions. We will compile these ideas and promote the most needed ones. Finally, we welcome you to join the MAJ R&D committee to help get these voices heard.

On Monday, June 10th, the R&D Committee of the Moodle Association of Japan will meet to confirm 2024 priorities for improving Moodle LMS in Japan. As a member of the Moodle Association or as a user of Moodle in Japan, you are welcome to decide the priorities for this coming year by answering this survey:  https://forms.gle/xmAxeTQ6E5uTn1Ff8

We only need you to answer Question 10 now, so all other questions are set as "not required".  Question 10 (see below) shows ten priorities recommended by members of the Board of MAJ. Similar to the sorting priorities of the global process (PAG), you choose which of these ten are "Most Urgent", "Urgent", "Less urgent" or "Not so urgent".

In addition, if you are interested to influence how Moodle is developed globally, Brett Dalton, the head of Moodle LMS development is asking all of us to do a "card-sorting exercise". He has chosen the 23 most requested new features of Moodle, and he wants to know which ones he should do "Now", "Later", "Much Later" or "Not at all". This card-sorting exercise is part the new Product Advisory Group (PAG) process, which will decide Moodle priorities. The exercise for this year also ends on Monday, July 10th (sorry for this late announcement). I have sorted the 23 cards-- it was easy and took me less than five minutes, but it is only in English, so it make take more time for others. Go here in the next 48 hours: https://ows.io/os/yaayns84
