The reason we are moving forward independently is that you have not acted in good faith as a committee chairperson and a member. Despite multiple attempts to have our ideas incorporated into the process, you continually operate independently and make decisions based on unclear ideas. This is not in the spirit of working in a group.

Here are some of the reasons:
- You act individually without getting consent from all group members.
- You don't see any problems with having your name on some or all of the proposals. In fact you insisted on it at one point.
- You don't see any issues with assigning funds to a grant that has your name on it despite the appearance of impropriety and corruption.
- You didn't listen to the feedback that Yoshi, Matt and I gave you when we asked you to write a letter to the submitters asking them to make edits to their proposals.
- We have received complaints from one of the submitters about being asked to change the proposal to something unrelated to the original proposal.

We will continue to share the communications of the committee group with you and keep you in the loop until you return from your time overseas. However, we ask you to take no further actions in regards to the RnD grant proposal process for now.
