Award for Best Moodle Innovation for 2025 -- Nomination Form

Criteria for nomination:

Any MAJ member of FY2025 or the Moot2026 participants who have completed the fee payment, including the developer, can nominate the code for the recognition award.
Any individual can only make one nomination.
Explain whether you are presenting this innovation at MoodleMoot 2026 (include that abstract if possible).
Add screenshots of its interface, and links to its open source code, user documentation, and a public demonstration site of the working plugin or service.
If the plugin or other innovation is only operating on private site, please install on the MAJ Showcase site or other open site in time for the judges to test it on February 26.
In the "Innovation Description" field, please list the main developer with affiliation and email address. Also list additional programmers and contributors with their affiliations.
The R&D committee will determine the awardees,based on the panel's expertise. Visiting members from Moodle HQ are often asked to review the code as well.

2nd Best Innovation for year 2025
Honorable Mention for year 2025

The developer or one member of the innovation team must be present at the MoodleMoot Japan to demonstrate and answer questions.

Forum's Own Post Filter

Innovation Description:目的・機能の説明：

Adds a button in forums to display only discussions in which the current user has participated (post/reply).

In large, busy forums with hundreds or even thousands of discussions, it can be difficult for users to find discussions they participated in earlier, on subsequent visits. This plugin places a button on the forum to a special page that only displays discussions that the logged in user has previously participated in, either by posting the discussion or replying to someone else's post. This makes it easier to return to conversations after initial participation.

This plugin would be of great use for sites with larger forums like community discussion forums... for instance, the Moodle.org forums (well, a guy can dream).

This plugin was developed with funding from the Moodle Association of Japan (2024 grant).
