MAJ is concerned about the lack of functionality in Moodle to simultaneously support both Japanese and foreign names in the database. MAJ has committed itself to explore ways to solve this problem, and possibly, to fund the development of a coherent method of handling it through a revision of the core Moodle code. We are seeking bids, by November 30, 2012, for a company or an individual to explore the current Moodle code and recommend the most efficient means of adding the required functionality.
